About the Event
Explore the heathland and see stunning reserve views, while spotting Osprey, shore birds and heathland birds with our expert guides.
With it’s mosaic landscape, RSPB Arne is home to a variety of birds – some resident all year, like Stonechat and Dartford Warbler, others like Osprey which only visit during their summer migration.
This is the perfect time of year to spot Osprey as they hunt for fish in the shallow waters of Poole Harbour – stocking up on food before their long journey south. Our guides will explain their adaptations and tell their story from extinction to translocation success, thanks to Birds of Poole Harbour.
Binoculars will be available to hire on the day – please speak to a member of our friendly team.
