Details and Information
Portland Bill Lighthouse is a functioning lighthouse on the Isle of Portland. The lighthouse and its boundary walls are Grade II Listed with distinctive white and red stripes, standing at a height of 41 metres. It was completed by 1906 and guides passing vessels through the hazardous waters surrounding the Bill, while also acting as a waymark for ships navigating the English Channel.
A large area around the lighthouse offers walking, bolder jumping or do a spot of fishing.
There is on site parking and restaurant for a snack or ice cream.
